Stress shows up in all of our lives — in school, work, relationships, identity, and family. For many people, that stress becomes overwhelming, confusing, and difficult to manage alone. Hunter provides a safe, grounding, and deeply compassionate space for people of all ages to talk openly, receive acceptance, and learn real tools for change.

“I need to be _________…” fill in the blank.  “The best in my class.”  “Skinnier.”  “Cooler around my buddies.”  This is real stress.  Where is this processed in real life?

Do you feel like yourself? If no: what is missing that helps you work toward that version of yourself you can love?

People of all ages need unique space to process all of that.  Children overwhelmed by big emotions, teenage people navigating pressure and uncertainty, college students struggling with direction or identity challenges, and couples trying to rebuild connection: Hunter brings warmth, steadiness, and refined compassion to every session.

Before his work at Compass as a therapist, Hunter has spent over ten years working with middle school, high school, and college students including over eight years as Paster of Youth Ministry at Third Reformed Church in Holland.

His goal is simple: to help you feel understood, supported, and strong again.
